Robert Kaminski leads the firm's telecommunications, media, and technology policy research practice. He advises institutional investors on the risks and opportunities of political developments affecting 5G wireless communications, broadband, broadcast media, autonomous vehicles, and online platforms. Kaminski identifies and forecasts regulation, legislation, litigation and macro-political issues that will be relevant to companies, industry structure or sector strategy. Areas of focus include Federal Communications Commission rulemaking, merger reviews, antitrust enforcement, and technology regulation. Kaminski holds both a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management and a bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Previous experience includes technology and tax policy positions at Washington trade associations the National Association of Manufacturers and the former American Electronics Association (now TechAmerica).
