Rob Smith, Managing Director, brings two decades of Washington health care experience to Capital Alpha, where he directs coverage and strategic advisory services regarding physician services, pharmaceuticals and biologics, medical technology, value-based payments, diagnostics, and a wide range of specialty provider issues. Prior to joining Capital Alpha in 2008, he was a lobbyist for the Ceridian Corporation, where he managed the company's Capitol Hill presence on health care and tax issues. Before that, he served for five years as the top health care aide for Representative Rick Boucher, a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce and Judiciary Committees.
